DESCRIPTION:The ECO-SOS Doctorals is a workshop where doctoral students fro
 m the Doctoral Program in Economics and Business present their research an
 d a faculty member briefly discusses each paper presented.\n\nThis year\, 
 the ECO-SOS Doctorals will be held on the first day of the academic year\,
  September 7. This change will allow our doctoral students to be offered t
 hree opportunities to present and discuss their work throughout the year: 
 two &quot\;internal events&quot\; - the Doctorals in September and the man
 datory training seminar on doctoral thesis supervision\, organized by the 
 Doctoral Program in May - and one &quot\;external event&quot\;\, the WIPE\
 , which will take place in February.\n\nThis year\, we have also introduce
 d a small change in the structure of the Doctorals. In addition to the stu
 dent presentations and debates\, we will have one or two former students o
 f the program as guest speakers. They will share their experiences both du
 ring their PhD and\, above all\, after they have finished: their entry int
 o the job market\, their first professional positions\, their career paths
 \, etc.\n\nThis edition will feature the participation of Guiomar Ibáñez
 \, a 2015 graduate\, and Eva Coll\, a 2018 graduate.\n\nThe event will con
 clude with an informal lunch for presenters\, debaters\, speakers and othe
 r faculty members. We hope that this will give students the opportunity to
  discuss their work and projects in more depth with our guests and colleag
 ues.
